Religious activity can easily replace real transformation. Through Micah, God reveals that worship disconnected from justice, mercy, and humility misses His heart. This message invites us to reconsider what faithfulness truly looks like. As part of our worship, we practice silence—not as absence, but as attentiveness—creating space to listen, reflect, and allow God to shape our hearts beyond words and activity.

Faith is often treated as something that works only when emotions are strong or circumstances are favorable. Jesus reframes worship as something rooted in Spirit and truth rather than place or feeling. This sermon invites us to re-center our trust in who God is, not what we experience. In worship, we explore the posture of lifted hands—not as performance, but as a physical expression of trust, dependence, and openness to God’s sustaining presence.

Many people approach God by managing appearances and hiding weakness. Psalm 24 challenges the idea that worship is about performance, revealing that God desires honesty and integrity of heart. This message invites us to come before God as we truly are, laying down our masks and opening ourselves fully to His presence. As we worship, we practice embodied honesty—symbolized through open hands—as a way of physically expressing our willingness to be seen and known by God.

Life is short, and time moves fast. Don’t enter the new year on autopilot; step forward with vision, purpose, and the courage to take action in areas that matter most.

Mary’s song wasn’t safe; it was bold faith in a messy moment. The angels didn’t just sing, they announced that heaven had broken in. These songs weren’t sentimental; they were revolutionary. Advent reminds us to listen for the sound of hope in unexpected places.
