Pastor Garfield focuses on the overall vision and spiritual leadership of the church. He is passionate about helping people grow in their faith and feels a strong divine calling to serve and impact the Bay Area community.
Pastor Mimi serves as the Executive Pastor, overseeing ministries and church operations. Her role includes supporting and equipping teams with vision and strategy. She is also part of the Sunday teaching team.
We designed our governance to create a balance of authority, responsibility, and accountability. In other words, we are structured to allow qualified leaders to lead responsibly, along with the accountability that ensures they lead with integrity.
OUR STAFF LEADERS
The Pastors and Staff oversee the day-to-day ministry and operations of the church. The staff serve the church and are responsible for equipping volunteers and the spiritual development of the attendees.
WE ARE PROTECTED BY THE CHURCH COUNCIL
The Church Council are members who serve as the church's governing body. While they often provide counsel and accountability to the Lead Pastor, they are charged with protecting the church through wisdom, prayer, and guidance on all ethical matters.
WE ARE STRENGTHENED BY ADVISORS
The Advisors are reputable pastors or leaders of respected churches or organizations who are willing to provide spiritual protection to the church. They may be called in to help in accountability matters relating to the Lead Pastor if requested by the Pastors or Church Council. They serve the Church indirectly by assuring compliance with the Church’s management policies and procedures.
